The Right Thing

There is a constant war
Between the hearts and minds of self
Right and wrong is but a swinging door
Expendable people are the cost of wealth
So the rich get richer
And the poor pay for the loss of their health
Lights and water
You would think that we would have lerned
From our past mistakes
But we're quick to get burned
Moving slow
Thinking late
What we'll end up with
Will be the hate we earned
In life
What goes around
Comes around
That's the way the world turns
