As I climbed her tall long brown trunk
Drinking in her features
Tasting the nectars of her fruits so sweet
Eating her flesh
Dropping seeds at her feet
As she stretched forth her hands
Yielding youth
Blessing the world
With women, men, berries and fruit
Soaked in her sapped sweat
I want to be apart of her
With every chance that I get
She becomes a stump
When her earth is not wet
And when man dumps and pollutes
In the soil of her well seasoned roots
Contaminating her with radiation
Spoils our once deep foundation
And weakens the fertility of our nation
Drinking in her features
Tasting the nectars of her fruits so sweet
Eating her flesh
Dropping seeds at her feet
As she stretched forth her hands
Yielding youth
Blessing the world
With women, men, berries and fruit
Soaked in her sapped sweat
I want to be apart of her
With every chance that I get
She becomes a stump
When her earth is not wet
And when man dumps and pollutes
In the soil of her well seasoned roots
Contaminating her with radiation
Spoils our once deep foundation
And weakens the fertility of our nation
