“Moods Of The Season”

Bright sunny summer days

In 90 degree weather

The sun’s rays assimilate my activity

It’s hard to keep my feet together

And mother gets loose in the summer time

A thick haze hovers above the land

Filling the air

Like down fills a comforter

Surely she shows us her signs

When autumn comes

Spirits calmly come down

Like leaves falling from the trees

And onto the ground

Her body cools

She puts on her gown

A beautiful arrangement of colors

Louder then sound

Universal mother decorates the towns

That winter has chosen

Dig your burrows

And store your food

Before her surface becomes frozen

The chilling winter weather

Severs mother from her children

Although she gives them a white winter blanket

That covers each and every building

With the spring

Comes new life

The planet fills with buds

Nursing planetary babies

Warm within springs love
