“Guilty”

I was guilty from the start

Relationships in the past have broken your heart

And left an unhealed scar

That when I speak to you

Whether good or bad

The light passes through

Either you say

It’s unimportant

Or untrue

But

The words that I say

Make their way from my heart

To benefit all of the world

When developed in my thoughts

Still

Your fears insist on judging me for my faults

So I pray for patience and tolerance

The kind Job taught

To help me keep direction

I use a mirror with Jesus in the reflection

To remind me of how I should be

On the square

Yeah

The ruler

I use to measure

Yes I use him to measure

My thought is to get myself together

You’re my motivation

And I’m your deepest buried treasure

And until you open up again

To receive me

I’ll wait for thee

And persist in loving you more than myself

Please believe me

And let our loving minds kiss

Your open arms

And receptive input

Keeps my spirit in heavenly bliss

Souls need to trust

If we are to live

We must

Fear is what is killing us

So I pray for the day

That we can look at each other in guiltlessness

Instead of guilt

And return to that principle of love

On which we were built

And again

Respect and trust

Let us

Cast fear, ego and pride

To the side

And live as one

Put the past behind us

And 7od’s light will come

You see

The moon has no light of it’s own

Only that of the sun

But love will shine brighter with two

Instead of one

My intentions are good

And my love for you is true

There is no one else in the world

I’d rather give my love to than you

I’m on your side

And I hope you overstand

If not

You could end up

Condemning an innocent man

Guilty
