“Dancing Spirits”

In my thoughts
The world is completely dark
No one can see
And the only light we have
Is the fire that you set inside of me
And I will have lit many candles at your feet
And destiny will have us meet
And conceive in virtuous conduct
A storm will roll in from the sea
Passing over us slowly
As we adore each others bellies
Faces blushed
Counting the candles that flicker
Like dancing spirits
Waiting to come through us
Let them not be captured in rubber
Let’s not kill 7od’s kind
We’ll give life a chance
And more time will come
Again and again
And we’ll count a billion spirits
That illuminate in each flicker
Before we refrain under a window
Where the wind can blow
And the stars gather to watch us in the night
And bare witness
Under the moon’s spotlight
Two finite bodies destined to be infinite
Hoping the best of spirits carry on our name
In the next life
It’s a chance you take
When two hearts combust
The players of life’s next performance
Await us
With your head in my chest
And my flesh in your life
Gives good reason to pray
That we’re blessed
With the spirit that dances the best
